Problem velikog gubitka na vodovodnoj mreži se pojavio u firmi “Eurometal”iz Teslića pri čemu smo kontaktirani da izvršimo pregled mreže i ustanovima mjesto puknuća. Izvršili smo prethodno vizuelni pregled i obilazak kruga fabrike, a s obziorm da nije postojala nikakva katastarska podloga sa ucrtanim položajem cjevovoda, bilo je potrebno isto istražiti. Takođe na osnovu dostupnih informacije koje su bile nepotpune bilo je potrebno sagledati i izvršiti provjeru za sve objekte, jer je od prvobitnog stanja fabričkog kruga izvršena podjela na dva odvojena privredna subjekta, sa samostalnim priključcima na vodovodnu mrežu.

After the preparations and assessment of the scope of work, the routing of pipelines was carried out with the checking of power supply arms for business facilities, i.e. production halls. Having determined the position of the pipeline, an inspection of the internal sanitary and hydrant installation was carried out. The outer ring of the hydrant network around the facilities around the factory was also inspected, and listening to the network revealed an approximate section on the outer hydrant part, where there was a suspicion of failure.

Testing and leakage location

Using the correlation method, the area where the defect was located based on the results of measurements and tests was reduced. A more detailed detection revealed noise on the water supply network of very low intensity, due to the very configuration of the terrain and soil, which is gravelly and absorbs sounds, as well as the material of the PVC pipe on which the failure occurred. After the fault was located, the pipeline was dug up and the fault removed.

According to the results of the water meter readings, the average consumption of this business entity in the period before the failure occurred was about 4.6 m33With the occurrence of the malfunction, and based on the reading of the water meter, the consumption increased many times and on a daily basis in 24 hours it amounted to about 83.3 m3.

By repairing the defect, the daily consumption returned to the normal level of about 3.5 m3.
