Second Conference on Water Losses
The Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia organized the Second International Scientific Conference on "Water Losses in the Public Water Supply System" in mid-June. The co-organizers of the conference were the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Belgrade, the Institute of Water Management "Jaroslav Čarni", the Engineering Academy of Serbia, and the water supply companies "Vodovod i Kanalizacija" Kragujevac and Novi Sad, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia.
Considering that, like last year, we received an invitation to take part in the work of the Conference, this year we decided to SILVER SPONSOR we present and present part of the activities and achieved results in the field of communal hydrotechnics. Since the main goal of the Conference was the promotion and publication of the results of scientific work, research and professional work, as well as the exchange of experiences and ideas of experts in this field, the company "NMAqua" presented itself with the projects and activities completed so far, with a special emphasis on the development of the AquaWeb software. for reporting, analysis and monitoring, as well as monitoring the state of technical losses in certain zones or on the entire water supply network.
Presentation of the work of NMAqua at the Conference
After the presentation of our activities and the results achieved during more than twenty-five years of work on projects of measurement, analysis and research of losses on water supply systems and reduction of non-revenue water, we made a series of contacts with eminent experts in this field as well as the interest of certain representatives of water companies. We exchanged previous experiences and achieved results achieved in our work, and talked with representatives of several water supply companies that are facing problems and that need the engagement of experts who deal with measurements and reduction of non-revenue water.
After the exchange of information and contacts, we handed our potential future business partners brochures about our company's work, as well as brochures about the AquaWeb program and the services and capabilities of QGIS software.
The Second International Scientific Conference in Belgrade was attended by 110 experts from the Republic of Serbia and abroad, employed at faculties, institutes, public utility companies and companies engaged in the production and distribution of equipment and software, which are intended for detecting losses in the water supply system.
The working part of the Conference was accompanied by an exhibition, in which ten exhibitors took part, companies from the Republic of Serbia and abroad, which are engaged in the production and distribution of equipment and software for detection of losses, among which was our company "NMAqua" Banja Luka.
With positive impressions, we finished our participation in the Second International Scientific Conference in Belgrade and turned to the preparation and participation in the First Professional Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Water Losses in Water Systems", which will be held on September 19 and 20, 2024 in Sarajevo.
