Flow measurement on sewer pipes

Based on the Contract on performing the metering service between "OCIDE CONSTRUCTION SA VALENCIA" PJ Bijeljina as the Purchaser and "NMAqua" Banja Luka as the contractor, at the end of February the current flow measurement was performed with an ultrasonic flow meter at the sewage station "Gornja dolina". in Gradiška, as required by the Purchaser.

The method of measurement and order, as well as the time period of measurement is determined by the customer.

The measurement was performed on three steel pipelines with a profile of Ø1000 mm, for each high-voltage pump separately, with a variable operating mode.

The flow measurement interval is set to 5 seconds, due to the short measurement period, as well as due to the most complete and accurate data.

Flow meters were installed at the only available and possible measuring points agreed with the Client, in open excavation in the ground behind the pumping station, and that there were physical conditions that ensure accurate measurements within the regularity of measurements.

The measurement of each pump was individually measured for about 10 min, as the water level was very low and the inflow of water into the reservoir was very low, and it was necessary to perform flow measurements at all three pumps.
